Barbara Johnston I was born in Albany, NY and made the move to Raleigh, NC when I was 8 years old where I spent most of my childhood. I graduated from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and was lucky to get into my college of choice in 1999; UNC-Wilmington. During my sophomore year I started as an administrative assistant at Azalea Insurance Services here in Wilmington. I graduated from UNCW with a double major in Spanish and Political Science in 2003. Not wanting to leave the coastal area, I decided to apply for graduate school. During this time I also received my insurance license and became a full-time agent while I went to school at night. In 2006 I graduated with my Masters in public administration and decided to continue my career in the insurance industry. With 10 years of commercial and personal insurance experience under my belt, I enjoy educating clients about their policies and helping them meet their insurance needs. |
